Samuel Brotman - President and Chief Executive
Biography
- Sam is a second year law student and the team's president for the 2008-2009 year. He was born and raised in Dallas and is proud to be from Texas. During Sam's sophomore year of high school, he was selected by the American Field Service for a year long course of study in Joetsu, Japan. After returning from Japan, Sam completed his undergraduate at Wabash College where he majored in English and Religion. Sam also attended St. Catherine's College in 2003-2004 where he earned highest honors and boxed as a welterweight for the Oxford University Amateur Boxing Club. Before coming to the University of San Diego, Sam worked as a senior legal assistant at Covington & Burling, LLP and lived in New York City for two years. He just finished an extended summer position as a law clerk for Bainbridge Inc. in La Jolla, California.
Sam's professional interests include real estate, conflict resolution, corporate, tax, and international law. He is undecided on his career path, but plans to incorporate a small business shortly after graduation. Outside of law school, Sam is a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoys living in San Diego.
